At toob, we are committed to conducting our business with integrity and being a provider that the communities we serve can trust.

This code of conduct reflects these principles and sets out our clear expectations for all toob suppliers. All toob suppliers are assessed against these standards, and we expect those that we work with to ensure equivalent commitments are obtained from their own supply chain.

toob may update this code of conduct at any time by giving the supplier at least 30 days’ notice in writing. In the event of any conflict between this code of conduct and the agreement between toob and the supplier, the supplier shall meet the more stringent standard.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

  • Legal Compliance:
    The supplier will adhere to all applicable local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Licenses and Certifications:
    The supplier will keep and maintain all licences required in connection with delivery of its goods or services to toob, as well as all necessary insurances to support their business activities.

Ethical Practices

  • Integrity and Transparency:
    The supplier will conduct business honestly, avoiding any practices thatcould be seen as unethical, anti-competitive or fraudulent. Suppliers should maintain full transparency in all dealings.
  • Anti-Bribery:
    toob strictly prohibits any form of bribery, kickback, or inducement. The supplier will comply with all anti-corruption laws.
  • Conflict of Interest:
    The supplier will disclose any potential conflicts of interest. Decision making must always be free from bias or undue influence.

Quality and Service Standards

  • Commitment to Excellence:
    The supplier will ensure that all products and services meet the quality standards specified in the contract.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    The supplier is expected to regularly review and improve operational processes to foster quality and efficiency.

Health, Safety and Environment

  • Workplace Safety:
    The supplier will uphold high standards for workplace health and safety, protecting employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Environmental Responsibility:
    The supplier will implement sustainable practices and work towards reducing environmental impact. Compliance with environmental laws is mandatory.

Social Responsibility

  • Human rights:
    The supplier will respect human rights and promote fair labour practices, including equitable treatment, safe working conditions, and adherence to fair wage standards. The supplier will ensure that no forced, bonded, indentured, prison or child labour is present in any part of its supply chain.
  • Equal Opportunities & Harassment:
    toob is an equal opportunities employer and takes a zero-tolerance approach to any form of discrimination or harassment. The supplier will not discriminate at any point in the employee lifecycle and will take
    appropriate measures to prevent any form of harassment (including without limitation, sexual harassment) from occurring in the workplace, including as part of the service provided to toob and in any  interactions with toob employees. The supplier will provide evidence of such measures on request.

Data Protection and Cybersecurity

  • Data Privacy:
    The supplier will ensure proper safeguarding of customer and company data in accordance with GDPR and other relevant data protection legislation.
  • Cybersecurity Measures:
    The supplier will implement and maintain robust cybersecurity practices (aligned to frameworks such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus where appropriate) to prevent data breaches and protect sensitive information. The supplier will notify toob immediately in the event that a member of supplier staff needs to be offboarded from toob systems.

Communication and Reporting

  • Open Communication:
    The supplier will maintain effective communication with toob and report any issues or risks promptly.
  • Whistleblower Protection:
    The supplier will ensure secure channels are available to employees and stakeholders to report unethical behaviour or violations of the code without fear of retaliation.

Monitoring and Auditing

  • Training:
    The supplier will implement a system of training for its worker to ensure they are aware of the requirements of this code and relevant law.
  • Regular Assessments:
    The supplier will co-operate with toob to allow periodic audits and assessments to verify compliance with contractual and legal standards.
  • Corrective Actions:
    In cases of non-compliance, the supplier will promptly address issues and implement corrective measures.
