toob broadband ranked UK’s fastest-growing utilities and energy company by Growth Index 2026

toob full-fibre broadband has been ranked the UK’s fastest-growing utilities and energy company in the ORESA Executive Search Growth Index 2026.

The annual Growth Index ranks the top 100 fastest-growing companies in the UK through investigative analysis of Companies House data, with toob securing the no.1 position in its industry sector for its exceptional growth, innovation and continued investment in digital infrastructure. toob’s latest fastest-growing company ranking comes just months after the provider was ranked in The Sunday Times 100 Tech, Britain’s fastest-growing private technology companies listing for the second time.

Since launching its full-fibre network in Southampton in 2019, toob has experienced significant growth. As of July 2026, the full-fibre broadband provider operates across more than 130 towns and cities throughout England and Scotland, delivering services both on its own network and through its partnership with industry wholesaler CityFibre. The broadband provider now serves over 135,000 customers and maintains an ‘Excellent’ rating on Trustpilot.

The Growth Index 2026 ranking adds to a growing list of industry accolades for toob. The multi-award-winner was named Best Provider in the Midlands, East and South East of England by Broadband Genie and received two North East Contact Centre Awards (NECCA) in 2025.

The wider Growth Index findings suggest Britain’s entrepreneurial engine remains capable of producing exceptional growth. The average company on this year’s ranking achieved a two-year CAGR of 136.1% – significantly higher than any of the previous four years – while the top 100 companies collectively generate annual revenues of more than £11.3 billion.
