Broadband provider, toob, today announced its full-fibre broadband service is now available to order in parts of Aldershot as a part of an on-going £9m investment. Its full-fibre broadband will reach over 20,000 premises across the town.

toob’s fibre-to-the-premise (FTTP) network delivers superior broadband as fibre optic cables are connected directly to the premises rather than traditional broadband providers who deliver internet via old copper cables to the premises. toob’s FTTP network provides residents with a faster, more reliable internet connection at an affordable rate.

Nick Parbutt, CEO and Founder of toob said: “At toob we want all members of the Aldershot community to benefit from all that full-fibre can bring, so we provide all our customers with 900 Mbps at only £25 per month. This allows our customers to surf, stream, game and work all at the same time without the worry of slowing down at peak times or the wi-fi dropping out at the critical moment.

“We have always viewed the deployment of full-fibre networks as an economic and social necessity; the current challenges we are facing only reinforces this belief. With the launch of this new location, I am delighted that we can bring the benefits of full-fibre broadband to families and businesses within the local community.”

Councillor David Clifford, Leader of Rushmoor Borough Council said: “toob’s offering of full-fibre broadband will help to support a growing economy and help secure the future prosperity of our borough. We’re very excited to welcome toob’s investment in Aldershot.”

The availability of toob’s full-fibre broadband can help the residents of Aldershot with broadband bills, whilst offering a faster and more reliable service which in turn will help with working from home, gaming, streaming and more. As well as Aldershot, toob’s broadband can be ordered in Southampton and Camberley, with further networks under construction in Fareham, Farnborough and Gosport.
