Broadband Genie tested over 413,000 connections and surveyed thousands of broadband customers across the country to assess real-life experiences with their broadband service, meaning Broadband Genie’s awards are judged based on genuine customer feedback.

With eleven categories in total, Broadband Genie surveyed broadband customers about the service elements they thought were key to selecting their broadband service. The eleven categories included:

Speed Satisfaction Award
Best Value for Money
Best Customer Care
Most Reliable Provider
Best Social Tariff

toob customers highlighted their affordable price and no in-contract price rise promise for a 900 Mbps symmetrical connection as key highlights of the ISP, leading to their award as the provider which is ‘Best Value for Money’.

In addition to winning this category, toob was also awarded runners-up positions for Best Altnet, Speed Satisfaction, and Best Provider.

Based on the south coast of the UK, toob started connecting customers in Southampton during 2019, and over the following five years has seen rapid expansion across Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey, Sussex and more recently into Berkshire, having secured significant funding in early 2023 to comfortably grow their network build.
